Who is Leo Buscaglia?

Leo Buscaglia was an American author, motivational speaker and professor who was known by the nickname “Dr. Love”. He is best known for his concept of the human need for hugs, stating that daily we need “5 hugs to survive, 8 to maintain, and 12 to thrive”.
