DEFENCE FORCE VETERANS TO RECEIVE FREE TRAINING

By Nima Singh – 9th January 2022

The NSW state government has announced that Australian Defence Force Veterans and their partners will be provided with access to free training to improve their career opportunities and assist in, often difficult, transition from service to civilian life.

Via the newly created Veterans Skills Program (part of the Australian Government’s Smart and Skilled program), veterans and their partners will be able to study with over 450 RTOs (Registered Training Organisations) any qualification from a Certificate II to Advanced Diploma level, as well as apprenticeships and certain traineeships.
