All presenting is selling! Whether you are presenting to clients, pitching an idea to senior management or sharing your vision for the future with your team, your success often depends on your ability to answer the one question audiences think about but don’t ask; ‘What’s in it for me?’
As a logical next step to our session on ‘Winning L&D Budget Approval – Developing a compelling business case for L&D programs‘, the Australian L&D Network is excited to announce that one of Australia’s leading subject-matter-experts in the field of presentation and communication skills and lead facilitator at Rhodes Business School, Grant Withrington, will be presenting a free one-hour ‘Presenting to Influence’ program (contextualised for L&D/OD professionals) at the next Australian L&D Network morning tea in Brisbane.
When?: 8-9.30 am – Friday 27th November 2015
Where?: Saxons Training Facilities – Level 11, 300 Adelaide Street, Brisbane
Workshop content:
In ‘Presenting to Influence’ you’ll learn about the three keys to a persuasive and compelling presentation that will enable you to engage your audiences each and every time.
Topics include:
- Keys to persuasion
- ‘What’s in it for me?’
- Engaging your audience
This is a regular breakfast meeting hosted in a workshop style for Learning & Development Managers, or those working in a similar capacity. In addition to the workshop, this is a great opportunity for networking and sharing best practice with other L&D Managers from various businesses and industry sectors…we hope you can make it and join in…obviously feel free to forward this invite to anyone else you know in the L&D community.
